3. Get gas before you are on “Empty.” By doing this, you can drive around and find the lowest price. If you wait until you are on “Empty” however, you may get stuck filling up somewhere more expensive so you don’t run out.
4. Change your driving habits. Some of the biggest wasters of fuel are your driving habits. Hard stops, quick accelerations and constantly speeding up and slowing down wreak havoc on your fuel economy.
