Create a device that catches speeders and the speeders will create a device that thwarts it. The radar detector is a perfect example of that. But now your NJ dealers would like to discuss a different type of device specifically designed to help drivers thwart the traffic laws.
Cobra Electronics has launched a new device that alerts drivers when they are approaching a traffic light with a camera attached to it. The cameras are designed to catch drivers who run red lights. When the car goes through the intersection, the camera takes a picture of the license plate so the authorities can send a ticket to them in the mail.
But the new AURA (Advanced Universal Road Alert) tells the driver when they are approaching such a traffic light. The device uses a GPS locator in which a database of these cameras is included. The device flashes green when approaching, lights up orange with an audible alert as the car approaches and lights up red with an arrow to show the driver where the camera is located.
Your Philadelphia based VW dealer encourages you to follow the speed limits regardless of traffic light cameras, radar detectors or any other ways you can avoid getting a ticket. The only foolproof way is to follow the traffic laws and be a safe driver.
