At your PA Toyota dealers, we know things are getting crazy these days. Road rage is running rampant on the highways and people are quick to violence. This story is about a whole other type of rage, though.
Christmas night, a family went to see a showing of “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” at a Philadelphia movie theater. A man was sitting nearby and was annoyed at them talking during the movie.
Instead of simply moving away from the family, he started throwing popcorn at the young child. When that didn’t help, he shot the father of the family in the arm with a .380 caliber handgun.
“It is really scary that it gets to that level of violence from being too noisy during a movie,” said one detective associated with the case. The man with the gun – James Joseph Cialella – is being charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and one firearms count.
There is no excuse for violence like this regardless of what the family was doing. We have never had anything like this happen at your Conshohocken area Toyota dealer.
