There are several new Pontiac vehicles that you will find at your local Pontiac dealer for the 2009 model year. The lineup is proving to be interesting, to say the least, and there will be plenty of vehicles to choose from. Two of the most interesting vehicles will be the Pontiac G3 and the Pontiac G6.
The Pontiac G3 will debut in 2009. The G3 is a 5 door hatchback, which has been sold in Canada as the G3 Wave. It’s also been sold in Mexico as a sedan. The G3 is based on Chevy’s Aveo5, although it adds plenty of traditional Pontiac features to the base Chevrolet build. The G3 will add some interesting flavor to the Pontiac line, putting at four the number of cars Pontiac offers that get more than 30 miles per gallon on the highway.
The next generation of the Pontiac G6 will be released in 2009, as well. Ostensibly, the G6 is the sixth generation in the Grand Am line. There will be a base sedan, the G6 GT, and the top of the line GXP. The GPX in particular invokes the memory of performance Pontiacs from days gone by, with a large spoiler, giant grille, and even hood scoops.
