Pennsylvania Dealers Search for the Baby Jesus

Okay, so the headline was more of an attention-grabber rather than a statement of fact. But your Toyota Pennsylvania dealers want to bring this story to your attention.

Less than 10 days before Christmas, someone has taken the baby Jesus from the manger scene at Center City’s Independence Hall. Officials believe it was stolen Sunday night. Is it just me, or does this seem like a senseless and stupid crime? Wouldn’t this also be considered a hate crime since it is targeted against one certain religious group?

The city’s Christmas Creche Committee is in charge of the Nativity scene each year and now they have to borrow a baby Jesus until they can afford to purchase a new one. Baby Jesus figures cost between $500 and $600, so they may not be able to afford a new one until time to put the scene up again next year. If you’d like to donate to the cause, this website has more information.

Stories like this just show how mean-spirited people can be even during the holiday season. But when you visit your Langhorne area Toyota dealer, you’ll be welcomed with open arms (figuratively, of course, or else it would just be weird). We like to celebrate the season with cheer and glad tidings. Visit one today!

Used Car Dealer Pennsylvania Offers Winter Maintenance Tips

Living near the East Coast, your used car dealer Pennsylvania knows how brutal the winters can be. The cold weather is tough on our bodies, but it can wreak havoc on our vehicles. That’s why we want to offer some winter maintenance tips to ensure your safety and car’s operation through the next few months. Follow these tips and you’ll have a great chance at making it until spring.

1. Let your car warm up. One of the worst things you can do to your engine in the winter months is to start it up and start going immediately. The oil needs to warm up so it can flow freely through the engine and provide the lubrication it needs. Just let it run for a couple minutes before putting it in gear and your engine will thank you.

2. Replace the windshield wipers. Most people don’t think about their wipers until it’s too late. If you haven’t changed them in awhile, change your wipers now to help ensure safe driving.

3. Check the antifreeze. You need to look no further than the name of this stuff to realize how important it is in the winter. It keeps your engine from freezing, hence the name “antifreeze.” If it hasn’t been changed in awhile, do it today!

Your Media area Pontiac dealer is happy to offer more tips and suggestions for winter car maintenance. Visit them today and see what they can do for you!

PA Auto Dealers Welcome the New President-Elect

Your PA auto dealers want to welcome Barack Obama and Joe Biden to the area as they make their way to the White House on January 20.

Earlier this week, the 2009 Presidential Inaugural Committee announced that Obama and Biden would be making stops in Philadelphia, Baltimore and Wilmington on January 17. They will make these stops as they travel to Washington, D.C. by train for the January 20 inauguration. Their stops in Philadelphia and the other two cities mentioned will be the last leg of a long journey to the nation’s most coveted house.

Emmett S. Beliveau, the Executive Director of the 2009 Presidential Inaugural Committee had this to say about the list of activities included in the final days before the inauguration: “As part of the most open and accessible inauguration in history, we hope to include as many Americans as possible who wish to participate, but can’t be in Washington.”

We haven’t heard if the two most powerful men in the United States plan to visit a Springfield area Pontiac dealer or other PA auto dealers while they are in town. If they do, though, we’ll be here to welcome them and give them a great deal on a new or certified car!

You Can Still Buy American at Your Toyota Dealers

Did you know your Toyota dealers have American-made vehicles? That’s not what the domestic automakers would have you believe, though.

While the Big Three were lobbying for a bailout the last couple months, one of the main arguments they used was that patriotic Americans would have fewer choices if GM, Chrysler and Ford went bankrupt. But Toyota and other imports are considered American-made, too.

Foreign automakers create just as many (if not more) jobs for Americans than the domestic automakers. “We make them here and they’re built by American citizens and increasingly we’re designing them here,” said Kim Custer, a spokesperson for the Association of International Automobile Manufacturers. “In fact, 55 percent of the vehicles our companies sell here are built here.”

The Toyota Camry, Venza, Solara and Avalon are built in a plant in Georgetown, Kentucky. This factory employs about 7,000 workers. Toyota factories in California and Indiana also employ a total of about 10,000 workers. The Japanese automaker also has plans to build the new generation of the Prius hybrid in a factory in Mississippi in 2010 where 21,000 employees will have jobs.

So if you’re one of the people that is diehard about buying American, look no further than your Langhorne area Toyota dealer and Toyota dealers across the nation!

PA Auto Dealers Cheer for the Eagles

Your PA auto dealers want to join in with the rest of the city in cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles. A recent article in the Bleacher Report states that the green and white might actually have a great chance at the playoffs this year. Here are some of the highlights of that article:

• Despite a lackluster performance in many games this year, players on the team have shown a tremendous effort in the most recent games.
• In the game against the New York Giants a couple weeks ago, Brian Westbrook showed why he is one of the best runners in the NFL and “Donovan McNabb was finally the old Donovan McNabb.”
• The defense was on cue and kept the Giants back the entire game, giving up only seven points at the end of the game.

The Philadelphia Eagles have a great shot this year for these reasons and many more. Why not come to a home game and see this team while you still have a chance? While you’re in the area, visit your Springfield area Pontiac dealer and get a green or white car to show your support for the Eagles…or get the color you want and at least put an Eagles flag on your window.

Used Car Dealer Pennsylvania Warns Against Car Neglect

Your used car dealer Pennsylvania wants to warn drivers that winter is not the best time to break down in your car. In addition, breaking down in the winter time is more dangerous than breaking down any other time of the year.

Unfortunately, a recent study showed that motorists are neglecting service and maintenance for their vehicles because of the rising costs. More than 35 percent of motorists surveyed said they have not even carried out the basic scheduled maintenance tasks. Nearly 20 percent of those surveyed said they have not even checked the fluid levels in at least six months. As a result of these findings, we’ll probably see many more breakdowns on the slick and icy roads this season.

Your used car dealer Pennsylvania wants to encourage you to get your car checked periodically to ensure it’s in good working order. Bring your car to the service garage at your Springfield area Pontiac dealer and we’ll be happy to give your car the service it needs to help ensure it makes it through the winter. Or, at the very least, do some DIY preventative maintenance like checking fluids, tire pressures and other basic parts to help avoid the danger of breaking down. With icy and slippery roads, you never know what could happen to you if you break down on the side of the road.

Pennsylvania Dealers Talk about Schmucks

Philadelphia and the surrounding area is chock full of fun events and family opportunities all year. The holiday season is no different. Your Pennsylvania dealers want to bring your attention to a truly unique presentation at the city’s Wilma Theater going on from now until January 4.

Schmucks is a play set in 1965 New York City in a small diner. The Northeast Blackout has just occurred. A young stand-up comic that has landed a regular gig with The Ed Sullivan Show stumbles upon Karl Marx and Lenny Bruce in the diner. The play continues as the young comic asks the two comedic icons for their advice and guidance.

While giving their advice, the two comic icons argue about whose act is funnier. The play breaks out into a “whirlwind of witty one-liners, zany antics, and uncensored punch lines.”

Schmucks is premiering for the first time in the United States at the Wilma Theater. It was written by an up and coming playwright from London. Check the Wilma Theater website for more information about times, tickets and other events going on there this holiday season.

While you’re in the area, why not visit your Conshohocken area Toyota dealer? You can get a new or certified car to make this holiday season one that you can truly remember.

Winter Driving Tips from Your GMC-Pontiac-Buick Dealers

Your GMC-Pontiac-Buick dealers know that winter roads can be scary and treacherous. That’s why we want to offer some more winter driving tips so everybody can stay safe throughout the holiday season. Here are some winter driving tips from your GMC-Pontiac-Buick dealers that you should consider.

Watch the weather report. Before you even leave your house, watch the weather report so you know what the roads are going to be like. If there are a lot of accidents reported, consider alternate routes that may be salted or safer. If it looks really dangerous, reconsider your need to leave the house at that time.

Keep a survival kit in your car. Hopefully, you’ll never need a winter survival kit. However, it will come in very handy if you ever need one. It might even save a life. Keep things like blankets, matches, a bag of snow-melting salt and a first-aid kit in the survival package. Also, have a pair of jumper cables, flashlights and flares.

Let people know where you are going. If you are traveling this season, make sure other people know the route you plan to take. This makes it easier for emergency crews to find you if you “disappear.” If your route changes, try to inform somebody as soon as possible.
