“It is really scary that it gets to that level of violence from being too noisy during a movie,” said one detective associated with the case. The man with the gun – James Joseph Cialella – is being charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and one firearms count.

This parade is one of the oldest and most revered parades in Pennsylvania because of its heritage and popularity. Some even say this parade has been around since the mid-1640s and continues to draw crowds to this day.

The modern-day Mummer’s Parade, however, began in 1901. In the 1940s, the parade drew more than two million spectators just before it made its television debut. Here are some more facts about this exciting New Year’s Day event:

• The first official Mummer’s Parade in Philadelphia was on January 1, 1901. There was about $1,725 available for prize money for that event.
• There have only been 22 weather-related postponements since 1922. In 1919 and 1934, the Mummer’s Parade was canceled due to WW1 and the Great Depression, respectively.

Santa Baby – This is just a weird Christmas song that is a little uncomfortable. I guess it goes to show that some women will be flirty with a fat man to get what they want. (That was just a joke…save your hate comments.)

The South Park Christmas Album – Yes, it’s vulgar. Yes, there’s a lot of swearing. But it’s one of the best holiday albums I’ve heard. Give it a listen, but only if you don’t get offended…ever!

I, for one, am addicted to this show. Many of your PA auto dealers love the show, too. It shows how the employees of the parking authority enforce the laws each and every day regardless of how much they get yelled at, cussed out or even threatened. The funny thing is that the whole situation could be avoided if the drivers would simply park legally.

Each episode generally has a number of disgruntled drivers airing their grievances for a national audience in front of the camera. One episode had a tourist from Israel stuck at the office of the parking authority because his license was not valid and he could not drive his car off the impound lot with an invalid license. Five hours later, he got the situation straightened out and he was on his way.

Situations like these are normal on “Parking Wars.” The workers are not afraid to ticket, boot and tow your car away if you have tickets or if you’re parked where you’re not supposed to be.
